The Vane Arms is a local business and prides itself on using the best local produce and freshest ingredients wherever possible.

Homemade black pudding and apple tian – cider reduction, caramelised apple, poached egg and crispy Parma ham

Atlantic king prawns – diced chorizo, shallots, garlic butter and house salad

Honey glazed halloumi fries – toasted sesame seeds, honey and lemon and red chilli dip

Shetland mussels – white wine cream sauce with onions and garlic and toasted ciabatta

Chefs select soup – warm ciabatta and Durham butter
